Negri Bossi North America will be exhibiting at NPE 2015 in Booth W643. The company will exhibit a wide range of technological capabilities available across their line of premium quality injection molding machines, aimed especially at demonstrating their expertise with multi-component molding applications.

Negri Bossi will exhibit four of their most popular injection molding machine models and several of their Sytrama brand Cartesian part removal robots in simulated factory floor molding cells, partnering with an impressive lineup of industry heavy-hitters to showcase an array of technologies. Included on the booth will be:
- Vesta All Electric Series Model VE330-1580 (330 Tonnes/360 US Tons, 28 oz. PS) and the new Sytrama S Series Robot Model S9-L running a Bauer 4-cavity coat hanger mold with gas assist technology. Vesta Series injection molding machines are premium quality all-electrics available from 80 to 430 tonnes, featuring maximum durability, energy efficiency and peak performance. Other booth partners include Maguire (Aston, PA), Frigel North America (East Dundee, IL), MAC Automation (Woodstock, IL) and Automation New England (Chicopee, MA). A Sytrama brand robot safety cage will be in use. For this demonstration a clarified random copolymer will be supplied by Formosa Plastics USA (Livingston, NJ). Custom additives compounder Penn Color (Hatfield, PA) will supply the color concentrates.
- ELEOS Hybrid Series Model ELEOS65-210 (65 Tonnes/71 US Tons, 4 oz. PS) and the new Sytrama ONE Series Robot Model ONE-L running a single cavity sunglasses case with live-hinge. The EOS Series is available in models from 50 to 180 tonnes and features huge tie bar space and a cantilever two-platen clamping unit, offering impressive capabilities within a tiny footprint. This molding cell will feature RJG eDart process monitoring and demonstrate automation of a standard injection molding process with the robot configured for clamp end deposit of molded part in a small footprint. Other booth partners include Maguire, Frigel North America and MAC Automation. Sytrama brand end of arm tooling and safety cage will be in use. For this demonstration a polypropylene homopolymer will be supplied by Formosa Plastics USA. Custom additives compounder Penn Color will supply the color concentrates.
- Canbio Series Model eV300-2100 (300 Tonnes/330 US Tons, 28 oz. PS) and the new Sytrama S Series Robot Model S9T-L running a specialized industrial part featuring MuCell® microcellular foam injection molding technology. The Canbio Series is a core solution ideal for general purpose molding and is available in models from 90 to 500 tonnes. Other booth partners include Maguire, Frigel North America and MAC Automation. Sytrama brand end of arm tooling and safety cage will be in use. MuCell® is a registered trademark of Trexel, Inc. For this demonstration a 20% mineral filled PA 66 (nylon) will be utilized, a specific supplier has not been determined as of the date of this release.
- Canbimat Multi-Material Series Model eV210-850h-320v (210 Tonnes/230 US Tons 16 oz. and 5.7 oz. PS) with rotary mold table and the new Sytrama S Series Robot Model S7-L including special gantry mounting. The Canbimat features multi-component injection molding technology, with the machine at NPE producing a special two-color decorative container. Other booth partners include Maguire, Frigel North America and MAC Automation. Sytrama brand end of arm tooling and safety cage will be in use. For this demonstration a polypropylene homopolymer will be supplied by Formosa Plastics USA. Custom additives compounder Penn Color will supply the color concentrates.
