2016 was another excellent year for Negri Bossi, both in the North American market and globally. Group sales were up 15% on 2015 and this has allowed us to continue with our investment plans for additional personnel, facilities and new products in our primary markets.
In 2017, Negri Bossi North America will build a new technical center in Michigan. This facility will accommodate a sales office, warehouse and showroom where the Negri Bossi and Sytrama products will be available for demonstration. This facility also compliments the recent addition of MI, OH and IL based service technicians, along with a new direct salesperson in the IL/WI territory.
New products that made their debut at K2016 in October are now available in North America. We have high expectations for the Canbio ST range of machines and I am pleased to announce that 2017 will see the launch of several more exciting new products. Stay tuned!
We have a positive feeling about our prospects for 2017 and are confident that we will continue to grow our business.
